Nomen Amoris   In her lifetime, Eve had only ever been to a hospital once. When she was nine, she had fallen off of the slide at the park, and broken her arm. She didn't remember much about the incident, but she did recall that the walls were an ugly eggshell color, and the room reeked of insulin and penicillin. She was X-rayed, given a cast, and then taken out for dinner. She even got to miss a day of school.

  All in all, the experience was brief, and not all that memorable. She did remember the smell, though. She remembered it for her whole life.
